Attachment Parenting International
Attachment Parenting is a philosophy that promotes healthy and respectful bonding between parent and child. This group meets on the first Thursday of each month 10 a.m. to noon. Belmont Library Community Room, S. E. 39th and Belmont. 503-233-0446.
La Leche League of North/Northeast Portland

Mothers and More
This group offers support for moms who are working full-time, staying at home full-time, and everything in between. The east Portland chapter, serving the greater Portland metro area meets at 7 pm the third Tuesday of each month. Rose City Park Presbyterian Church, N.E. 44th and Sandy Blvd.
Northwest Attachment Parenting
Northwest Attachment Parenting provides a support and play group for parents and children age 5 and under. 10:30 to noon on Thursdays at McMenamin’s Kennedy School Community Room, located at 5736 NE 33rd Ave. 503-234-6004

Portland Metro Moms
This is a support group for moms and their children throughout the Portland metro area. The group meets the first and third Mondays of the month in S. W. Portland. For more information call Amber at 503-777-9126.
New Moms Groups
Area hospitals provide free support groups for new moms and their babies up to six months old who have delivered at their facilities. Most also welcome mothers who have delivered elsewhere. Contact your local hospital for more information regarding their support groups.
