Posted 1 Year Ago LOL. Definitely prepaid thanks. I don't have any issues with my 13year old carrying a phone. There for my benefit in contacting him, and like wise if there happens to be a problem. As far as putting restrictions; I got him a cheapy tracfone with the least minutes. If he runs out. He's gotta get the refill thank you. And you know what; he's actually working the garden for pocket money. Nothing wrong with that unless we run out of garden.

Posted 2 Years Ago Interesting topic. As a parent of an 11 year old, the pressure is coming from him to purchase a cell phone (his friends have them, etc.). Our philosophy has always been that when he is old enough to travel out by himself (bus, bike, mall with friends) THAT is when we will arm him with a cell phone. I think I have a few more years before I am forced to cave...
