Well, I guess you could say I am the new girl.  My name is Nicolle Camarata and I am excited to announce my new job (and blog!) for Parenting Today.  I have been in the media for the past ten years on-air for television, radio, and writing for newspapers, magazines and various web sites.  My career has mainly focused on fashion, shopping, trends, and travel but as a single Mom every story comes back to being busy and on a budget.  Now, it all comes together because raising good kids never goes out of style!  I have a tween daughter named Kaden that is dangerously smart and unbelievably charismatic.  She likes all the things girls her age like, horses, stickers, forts, and shopping with her Mom.  She does not like spiders, drama or liars and we have that in common.  Kaden often asks me questions like,  "Mom, which mythical creature is your favorite?" or "Do you think the stuffed animals at Goodwill know that they are donated?" making me see the world through a child's eyes.  We have a lot of fun together and I am excited about my new role with Parenting Today as we explore good parenting with some laughs along the way.  Check back here for more Nicolle Camarata & Kaden adventures, because life is one big playground!
