Humor comes in all kinds of forms but to someone like my son it comes in FULL FORCE. He is the kid in class when the teacher cracks a joke he is almost always the only one laughing. Most kids do not develop a sense of humor until about 3rd grade, my kid was born with it.
I should have known when at two years old he used to tell strangers he was five and his name was Phil, his name is no where close to Phil. He also is the one dancing in the aisles to music in the grocery store mostly trying to embarrass his older brother, the bad thing is, he only has one dance move and it involves hip gyrations.
So, if you have an out of the box thinker my advice to you is enjoy it, do not try and shove them back into the box. They do not fit in the box and they will not be happy in the box, encourage their originality and praise them because the world would be so boring without people like them.
