What is scrapbooking?  Stickers, colored paper, embellishments, elaborate pages in photo albums…sounds like a lot of work, or is it more than that?

Sometimes it’s really important to take time out and do something really enjoyable for yourself. It helps you focus on the more positive aspects of your life and not feel so overwhelmed with how hectic it can sometimes be.

Taking your time, creating beautiful pages with treasured photographs can be therapy.  Put the dishes aside and wait until later to vacuum.  Go scrapbook or enjoy your favorite hobby.  You’ll have far more patience with your kids when you’ve taken time for yourself.

With a mountain of photos staring at you to get done,  it can be difficult to know where to start or which pictures you should take more time with. Some of the obvious pages or pictures to take more time with should be titles of albums, sections, or seasons.  Really precious photos to you, whether they’re heritage, baby, school pictures, whatever tugs at your heart.

New trends in scrapbooking happen every day and are only limited by your imagination and time. There are no limits in scrapbooking; a scrapbook is an extension of you and your family.  Your personalities, your family, time and the memories you have together.  There are no limits on that.
