Cabinet locks and latches for the cupboard doors. This will keep hairspray, perfumes, shampoos, soaps, and bathroom cleansers safe and far from your child’s reach. Keep vitamins and medication out of reach and locked away as well.
Move over to the toilet and be sure there is a lock on the lid. Kids reach into the water and because they are heavier on the top half of their bodies, they can topple head-first into the toilet bowl and drown.
Next, if you have a closet in your master bathroom, clothing and dry cleaning bags can be pulled down and suffocate your child. Remove all dry cleaning bags and consider a door lock as appropriate.
